Jarrett Jones

Jarrett Jones is a creative strategist known for his steady execution, thoughtful insight, and ability to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling communications. He may be quiet by nature, but his impact is anything but — Jarrett brings consistency, creativity, and follow-through to every project he touches.

At Mazur & Co., Jarrett supports clients across strategic communications, media relations, content development, and data and reporting coordination. He has a gift for balancing creativity with structure, helping teams move ideas from concept to completion with clarity, polish, and measurable results. Whether refining messaging, building media materials, or translating data into insights, Jarrett ensures the details align with the strategy.

Jarrett first joined the firm as a Research Fellow and quickly distinguished himself through his reliability and creative thinking. He was promoted to Associate and now serves as Creative Strategist. Prior to Mazur & Co., he worked as a Tax Examining Technician at the IRS, sharpening the analytical discipline and attention to detail that now strengthen his communications work. Earlier in his career, he supported public relations and marketing initiatives for the University of Missouri Center for Autism, Elite Scholars STEAM Academy, and the MU Volleyball team.

He earned a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Missouri–Columbia, focusing on Digital Storytelling, Communication, and Sociology, along with a certificate in Multicultural Studies. He later earned his Master’s degree in Public Relations from Webster University.

Jarrett also serves on the Board of Directors for Flourish, a Kansas City–based furniture bank that partners with social service agencies to empower families overcoming housing insecurity. Through collecting, repairing, and providing donated furniture and essential home goods, Flourish helps families create stability and dignity in their homes. This commitment to community impact reflects the heart he brings to his professional work.

Jarrett is especially passionate about entertainment and the performing arts, bringing both creativity and heart to the stories he helps tell.
