Three Anniversaries in Six Days
There’s a stretch every year that many parents and professionals jokingly call “Maycember” – the season when school events, work deadlines, celebrations, travel, and general chaos all seem to collide at once. This year, Team Mazur & Co. experienced it in full force, crisscrossing I-70 to support three very different anniversary events across Missouri in six days. Somewhere between speaker prep, event logistics, media outreach, panel coordination, and pit stops, I started thinking about anniversaries in general: why should anyone care?
In our latest blog, I reflect on what we learned from supporting anniversary events for three mission-driven clients United WE, Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, and IFF – and why the most meaningful milestone moments go far beyond celebrating longevity. The strongest anniversaries reconnect people to purpose, impact, and possibility while building momentum for what comes next. Read more in “Three Anniversaries in Six Days: Turning Milestones into Momentum,” where I share what we learned and how organizations can maximize their milestone moments.

500,000 Career Journeys (And Counting)
As graduation season brings both excitement and uncertainty, we’re reminded through our client work how important it is to meet people at milestone moments with tools that are practical, accessible, and genuinely useful.
That’s exactly what The DeBruce Foundation’s Graduation Toolkit is designed to do: help graduates move from uncertainty into greater clarity about their skills, interests, and next steps. The Toolkit reflects a core communications principle we focus on with clients — translating big ideas into resources people can actually use, at the moment they need them most.
This spring also marked a major milestone: more than 500,000 uses of the Agile Work Profiler©, The DeBruce Foundation’s free career assessment tool. As the first step in the Graduation Toolkit — and a resource valuable far beyond graduation — the assessment helps people better understand their strengths and explore a wider range of possibilities for work, education, and life.
