Ella Childress

Ella Childress was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a senior at William Jewell College, where she is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media Communications with an emphasis in web design. She is a creative person who has always had a passion for the written word. She plans to use the skills she has developed through her education to help organizations communicate effectively, promote their work, and accomplish their missions. 

Through her education at Jewell, Ella has learned how to be a reliable worker while also being a team player. She has learned the ins and outs of communication tactics, how to create marketing campaigns, optimize social media algorithms, effectively engage audiences through content creation, code websites from scratch, and more. Jewell is dedicated to teaching their students to think critically and to leave the world better than they found it. Ella is committed to carrying these values with her as she enters the workforce. 

Ella has also learned valuable skills and lessons through her campus involvement. She is the captain of her Lacrosse team and a chairman for her sorority, Delta Zeta. These positions have taught Ella many lessons on leadership and how to work well with others. Lacrosse has taught her discipline, resilience, teamwork, and the power of hard-work. Delta Zeta has allowed her to practice her communication and time management skills. Both of these extracurricular activities have enabled her to overcome adversity and challenge herself daily.

Ella is excited to take these lessons and apply them to her future career so she can help clients achieve meaningful work and make a positive impact.
