Avery Roehler

Avery Roehler is a Kansas City, Missouri, native and December 2025 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communication. She is passionate about earned media, strategic outreach, and reputation-focused communication. Avery is motivated by work grounded in strategy that builds brand credibility.

Her experience spans fast-paced communications environments where adaptability and clarity are essential. Avery has experience supporting communications strategies on a gubernatorial campaign and in a congressional office, reporting live at a local ABC affiliate, developing compelling content as an intern for a national philanthropic organization, and creating integrated brand campaigns for global companies. Working across disciplines, she delivers audience-centered solutions that sharpen her strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Avery also brings leadership experience from her two-year executive board role with Mizzou’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).  She managed logistics, led recruitment and engagement efforts, and guided pro bono initiatives for local nonprofits. In her free time, Avery is also passionate about fundraising for nonprofit organizations. Working remotely from Columbia, Missouri, she is excited to help organizations and companies build strong reputations and connect meaningfully with their audiences.
