As we wrap up our first year as Mazur & Co., one thing feels especially clear: plans will change, but that doesn’t mean the mission should.
In this month’s blog, I reflect on the lessons that shaped our year – from refining our service lines to expanding our dream team and partnerships – and what it means to lead with clarity and flexibility in complex moments.
I’m incredibly grateful to the clients, partners, colleagues, and friends who trusted us with their work, collaborated alongside us, and referred others our way. You made this year of transition meaningful, and I’m proud of what we built together in 2025.
Looking forward to what’s ahead!

Happy Holidays,
Mindy Mazur
Owner & CEO, Mazur & Co.

Congratulations to our interns, Tess Howicz and Ansa Sunil, on completing their virtual internships with Mazur & Co.! Tess will be graduating from Mizzou this month, and Ansa will soon be studying abroad. It has been a privilege to support their growth, curiosity, and emerging leadership, and to learn alongside them as they sharpened real-world skills and contributed meaningfully to our work. We’re grateful for their time with us and excited to see how they continue to lead in the years ahead. Thank you, Tess and Ansa—and all the best in what’s next!

At Mazur & Co., we believe deeply in supporting people as they grow the careers they desire. With that in mind, we’re excited to share that Rachel Painter has accepted a new position at BioSTL. Rachel spent a little over two years with Mazur & Co. and was a tremendous asset to our team—thoughtful, organized, and highly conscientious in everything she did. Based in our St. Louis office, she provided essential administrative support for the firm while also supporting a wide range of clients, from foundations and universities to civic initiatives, across operational excellence and strategic communications.
We are incredibly grateful for Rachel’s contributions to our clients and our team, and we’re proud to see her take this next step. We wish her every success as she brings her talents to BioSTL and its mission to strengthen the region’s innovation economy in ways that are vibrant, inclusive, and globally connected.
