One of my life goals is to consistently find creative ways to increase my knowledge, and I am confident that I’m continuing to grow along my journey. Applying this challenge to a professional environment, I always seek out opportunities to grow and improve my skills. I’m happy to report that my 16 months interning with Lents Mazur & Associates has given me counsel, connections, and confidence to excel in my next steps.

Communication and building relationships is an integral part of a strategic consulting firm. I see communication as a vehicle containing a message that is simply in transit to the next person. Working with our team, you will know we deliver in many ways.

I’ve had the opportunity to work to support the inspiring missions of several clients during my internship; supporting Legal Services of Eastern Missouri has been the most fulfilling aspect of my role. The wide array of freely accessible services deserves greater recognition; spreading awareness can help create better lives for those in need of legal help.

This internship has made such a difference in my development, both professionally and personally. As a rising senior at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, I have concluded that there is no linear expectation to reach our success – however you define that term. Each experience, obstacle, and circumstance is a part of the journey to diversify and enhance your skill set.

Looking ahead, I am excited about the future and the countless opportunities that await. I carry with me the lessons learned, relationships built, and networks strengthened with this team that will serve as a cornerstone to reach my potential. Badger on!
